If you have school textbooks at home do not allow your child to work through these as the are intended to be used as part of the school programmme.  Below is homework that follows the learning objectives they would have been covering in class.  By the way WALT = what are we learning today?
If they finish all of their work they can go onto the educational links on the right of this page.

MathsWALT Identify and describe 2D and 3D shapes

WALT Find groupings to 10

*If your child is in the triangles maths group they are learning to solve addition and subtraction problems by counting all the objects

Spelling
Practice spelling the words in Essential List 1, and move onto List 2 if you have mastered List 1
This may be of help also
http://www.spellingcity.com/dragonsinger57/
Choose NZ list 1 or NZ list 2 - if your child masters these try list 3.
Writing
Write your spelling words into sentences.  Remember to start with a capital letter, use finger spaces and end with a full stop.  If you don't know how to spell a word stretch it out and write down the sounds you hear; listen for blends such as ch, th, sh, br and word endings like ing and ed, and the long vowel sounds ee or ea or y on the end of a word.

Reading
Read the story you have at home.
Read the poems in your homework book.
